Using hands on tools to help us learn!

We counted a variety of different objects and practiced making tally marks in groups of five using dry erase boards. Next we practiced showing numbers 1-20 using popsicle sticks to make our tally mark groupings. This is what activity based learning looks like during our math lessons.
