Nature Journal Sketching

We discovered some seed pods outside that had just begun to burst open so we brought them inside to explore and sketch. We discovered that the round black seeds eventually dry up to reveal tiny brown seeds inside. We talked about how the seed pod is protecting the seeds. We think these came from either a type of lily or iris.
